Our client will be the UK's first renewable energy marketplace that focuses on connecting asset owners and investors through a centralised location to transact efficiently and transparently.
Headquartered in Milton Keynes, they are growing an innovative anddynamic team to assist in providing disruptive solutions in the M&A process of renewable energy assets.
As a Business Developer you will be responsible for identifying opportunities with asset owners worldwide and inviting them to join the company portal to facilitate the sale of their renewable energy projects.
You will also be responsible for identifying keyinvestors and inviting them to bid on assets for sale.To be successful, you will have a proven track record in B2B sales and winning and closing opportunities.
Experience across the renewable energy space is preferable, however previous experience demonstrating drive, attitude and tenacity to win long term partnershipswith clients is key.

Salary Circa £65,000pa + Commission
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain a list of asset owners and investors across EMEA
- Develop sales strategies and contribute to the business development plan
- Manage relationships and be responsible for key account management
- Oversee the onboarding of new projects onto the platform
- Provide commercial solutions to parties to facilitate M&A processes
- Use your commercial acumen in order to review project valuation metrics
- Manage the progress of projects being transacted
- B2B commercial contract management
- Actively manage and update internal CRM system.
About You
- Proven experience as a business development manager or equivalent
- Be selfmotivated, driven and able to succeed in a targetorientated environment
- Be able to work on their initiative and as part of a team
- Competent in the use of CRM databases, Microsoft Suites (Outlook, Word, Excel etc) and social media platforms such as LinkedIn
- Ability to contribute to new business development by highlighting potential opportunities for new engagements from your own network and experience in business development.
- Ability to manage relationships between internal and external across organisations
- Ability to deal with conflict resolution in a commercial and professional manner
- Excellent social skills with the ability to initiate, inspire, drive and boost revenue growth and profitability within our position in the market.
