Key Relationships:
- Director, Car Operations & Engineering
- Race Team Chief Mechanic
- Manager, Car Assembly & Hydraulics
Principal Accountabilities:
- Member of race team, carrying out multiple roles across front and back of house. Aiding sustainability of the team by supporting rotation of team members throughout the season
- Attendance to a significant number of race events of Formula 1 world championship
- Support of Car Assembly and MTC based departments as directed by the Car Assembly manager or Team Leader when not required to attend trackside events
- Support of turnaround tasks when positioned at MTC
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
- Experience of working in a highly technical engineering function
- Ability to interpret engineering specifications and drawings
- Ability to contribute to car component fault diagnosis process
- Evidence of a strong understanding of modern Formula One systems and components
- Previous experience of working in a highlevel motorsport environment, prior trackside F1 experience highly preferred.
