Ador Talent are working with an Engineering company based in Darwen/Blackburn, who design, build, operate and maintain centralised and efficient engineering solutions.

Our client is looking for a
Scheduler to support the O&M teams in the delivery of the O&M contracts.


As part of our Operations & Maintenance team you will be responsible for scheduling planned and reactive maintenance work for boilers, heat pumps, CHPs, solar technology and Hydraulic Interface Units (HIU).

You will work with operations and maintenance engineers and regional management teams to ensure that all work is completed in line with service level agreements to ensure the efficient operation of assets is maintained and the impact on customers in the event of a fault is minimised


The Role:


  • Schedule planned maintenance visits ensuring that the appropriately skilled engineer resource is utilised
  • Ensure that reactive maintenance jobs are assigned to appropriately skilled engineers and are attended to in accordance with agreed service level agreements (SLA's)
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external customers
  • Monitor equipment alarms and overall site performance (recognising unusual trends)
  • Create and submit client reports within agreed deadlines
  • Utilise and assist in the development of the asset management system
  • Assist with the development and testing of processes and documentation
  • Help to develop site documentation and user guides for clients and residents
  • Assist and deal with any queries in a timely manner, ensuring that cooperation is sought from other team members or departments
  • Carry out any other duties consistent with the responsibilities of your post
