4 days on 4 days off

8 am-8 pm (normally finish around 6 pm but 8 pm during busy periods)

Salary DOE £35K - £38K

MC Personnel are now recruiting for a fantastic role for you

Our client based in Horsemonden Kent sit in the middle of many great top fruit growers Out of these great growers they pack fruit for over 50 of them during the summer months and dispatch them around the world

The purpose of the job:

To optimise the capacity of the site ensuring stock is accurately managed in accordance with policies / H & S / food safety procedures.

Lead Shift team to ensure All stock on site (from arrival through to despatch ) is fully controlled in the most cost efficientway ensuring safe driving practice code if followed, Manage teams adherence to key business KPI's ensuring safety always culture is instilled into teams day to day working.

Your job duties would be:

Correct utilisation of labour to deliver to sites capacity/storage / order plan
Correct staff rotation in accordance with company procedures and rota
Develop/maintain a consistent competent team of FLT drivers/Pickers
Full compliance to company / customer food safety standards
Adherence to WH targets
Take necessary action where breaches to H&S/Food safety policy are identified

- report to WH supervisor/Manager

Deliver team briefs in line with management requests and support
Identify and purse to delivery any opportunities that add value to the business
Ensure all documentation is accurately produced and audit ready in line with both internal / external procedures and standards
Ensure food safety/hygiene standards are followed and managed
Identify training needs of your colleagues and seek ways to improve processes and procedures to move the business forward
Communicate between all departments in order to optimise productivity, resolve issues and improve processes and procedures
Set team targets, prioritising tasks to achieve those targets
Management of RTW's on direct reports and shift team under your accountability
