The Role
Due to ongoing digital transformation we're now looking for a Infrastructure Project Manager to join our Digital team. This is a hybrid role coming into the office as and when needed. Our offices are based in Elland, or East Leake.
Job Purpose
You'll be responsible for the delivery of Cloud and IT Infrastructure projects, leading change, migrations and transitions to cloud and on-premise hosting models as required.
Managing stakeholders expectations and responsible for project planning, resource allocations, risk management and leading the delivery team in an agile way.
Day to Day;
- Delivery of projects to an agreed conclusion and within timescales.
- Manage endtoend project delivery, from design and discovery to golive
- Management of budgets within set boundaries.
- Communication and reporting to key stakeholders.
- Management of teams and resources to meet project goals and within the constraints of BAU workloads.
- Contribute to regular planning processes for project and resource prioritisation
- Regular project reporting and governance, ensure all stakeholders are aware of current status, issues & risks, tracking etc
Requirements:
To be successful:
- IT related degree preferred or equivalent relevant experience (extensive experience in IT roles)
- Experience of working within an Enterprise sized organisation and technologies
- Project Management certifications in Scrum and Prince
- Demonstrable understanding of ITIL Service Management methodologies, ITIL certification desirable
- Experience of working with Cloud computing technologies advantageous, preferably Microsoft Azure
- Significant Infrastructure and Cloud Project Management experience, working with both Agile and Waterfall methodologies
- Experience of working on modern Infrastructure delivery projects, with insight into infrastructure technologies and standards (incl. Cloud SaaS platforms, Onpremise hosting, systems, networking etc )
