We are urgently seeking a Interim Stores Team Leader to joined our established team at our Lisburn site. This is a fixed term rolling contract.

Aim of Role:
To generate production schedules and associated documentation necessary to ensure the efficient flow of work orders through production along with sales order fulfillment to meet Production Output targets in line with customer expectations

Responsible To:
Production Planning Team Lead & Operations Manager

Hours of Work:
Monday-Thursday 07:30am - 17:30pm


PRINCIPAL DUTIES:

  • Work closely with the Production Planning Team Lead to ensure daily and weekly KPIs and departmental objectives are met in line with business needs.
  • Allocate stock to sales orders and generate relevant documentation for completion prior to due date and on time delivery where required.
  • Work with the Despatch Team to ensure on time delivery of orders due and priority orders and communicate any issues to the relevant Team Leads.
  • To receipt, allocate and create sales dispatch confirmations of intercompany orders on Sage.
  • To generate production schedules, works orders and associated documentation to ensure the smooth flow of works orders through production and order fulfilment ensuring exceptional customer service levels at all times.
  • To ensure the Assembly Departments have completed all works orders in line with strict timeframes to ensure t the allocation of finished goods for order fulfilment and order picking is completed on time.
  • To continuously reconcile production output and work in progress to outstanding orders received, ensuring the integrity of the manufacturing systems.
  • To assist in inventory stock counts ensuring stock accuracy to support team leaders in completion of works orders.
  • Support manufacturing activities including MRP implementation
  • Updating and communicating changes in orders, works orders and build ensuring sage integrity
  • Identify and resolve any issues or problems that arise with Production Planning Team Lead,
  • Work cooperatively with team members and communicate effectively to ensure smooth production planning process and prompt resolution of issues.
  • Participate in lean continuous improvement processes providing feedback and suggesting ideas to enhance productivity, efficiency and quality.

MANDATORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform role in accordance with all relevant quality standards and adhere to all relevant processes / policies within the GMS.
  • Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety / Environmental and Welfare requirements.
  • Ensure general housekeeping requirements are adhered to.

Salary:
£21,733.03-£24,000.00 per year
