Key Responsibilities:


As a Gardener (Grade 4) - Ride On Mower Operative, you will play a crucial role in maintaining outdoor spaces to the highest standards.


Your primary responsibilities will include:

Operational Excellence:


  • Utilize rideon mowers with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, ensuring the pristine upkeep of outdoor areas.

Communication Skills:


  • Effectively communicate both orally and in writing with a diverse range of individuals, fostering clear understanding and collaboration within the team.

Driving Skills:


  • Develop beginnerlevel driving skills, with a focus on operating rideon mowers on roads and large pedestrian mowers.

  • Work seamlessly as part of a team, contributing to a positive and cooperative work environment.

Deadline Management:


  • Thrive in a fastpaced setting, working under pressure to strict deadlines while maintaining a high standard of work.

Qualifications and Experience:

Essential:


  • Valid driver's license.
  • Proven experience using large pedestrian mowers and roadgoing rideon mowers.

Intermediate:


  • A high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Able to work under pressure to strict deadlines.
  • Flexible approach to the demands of the role.
  • Good IT skills.
  • Good organizational skills.

Working Hours:


  • Fulltime: 37 hours per week.
  • 32 hours per week (Monday Thursday, 07:30 until 16:00) with a halfhour lunch break unpaid per day.

Job Types:
Full-time, Temporary contract


Salary:
£12.38 per hour

Expected hours: 32 per week
