In order to maintain and deliver an excellent visitor experience North Somerset Council's Seafront and Tropicana Teams are looking to expand their pool of casual staff.

The role will be supporting car parking over the upcoming season on Weston Seafront and/or working in the Tropicana bar and event space all year round.


Responsibilities for car parking will include: providing welcoming and friendly advice or information, collecting fees, checking parked vehicles for valid tickets, issuing warning notices and directing visitors to park in suitable spaces where available.


For the bar and event space duties will include: all aspects of working in a busy bar, using the till system, coat check duties, set-up and breakdown of the bar area for events.

Are you or someone you know a flexible, reliable, team player with excellent customer service skills? Do you enjoy working outdoors and/or in a fast-paced event space that is public facing? If so, this could be the perfect opportunity for you

The post will require weekend and evening working to deliver operational cover seven days per week. A full valid driving licence would be advantageous. Please note the bar work requires you to be 18yrs or over.
