Description

Our client are currently working with a very well-known engineering manufacturer based in Gateshead. We are currently looking to recruit for several Machine Operators.
A Machine Operator is responsible for monitoring, maintaining and operating warehouse equipment. They are also responsible for cleaning and quality-checking their machinery to ensure everything works as it should.

Your main duties will include the below:
Quality inspections of materials
General batch work daily.
Operation of press machinery and making adjustments to the settings where required - Full training will be given
Housekeeping of factory floor
An induction is required onsite prior to being offered any role.
You will be trained on day shift and then be alternating between dayshift and backshift.

Working Hours Monday to Thursday 6:30 AM - 4:30 PM/12:30 PM -10:30 PM
