Our client's team brings together many of the UK's finest practitioners and teachers in all relevant healthcare disciplines.

The Role:


They are looking for an Occupational Health Technician to join the team in delivering occupational health services to the client in Barrow-in-Furness.


  • As an Occupational Health Technician, you will be an integral part of the team, providing a compassionate, professional clinical service that is instrumental in the quality of care the clients receive.
  • You will undertake health screening, and these may include general baseline measurements such as height, weight, blood pressure, and urinalysis.
  • You will be carrying out Drug and Alcohol testing, fitness for work medicals, health surveillance screening including audiometry and lung function testing, carrying out health promotion activities while ensuring all medical information is accurately recorded.
  • You will be able to prioritise own workload and manage own time effectively, be flexible and work to strict deadlines while understanding the importance of patient confidentiality.

Essential Requirements:


  • They are looking for someone who can be an active member of the Occupational Health team and promote a positive working environment and be selfmotivated and have a proactive approach to work.
  • Ideally you will have a background such as Health Care Assistant, Ambulance, EMT, Military Medic or similar.

Working hours:


  • This will be a fulltime role, working 37.5 hours per week; Monday to Thursday between the hours of 8.00am and 4.30pm and Friday between the hours of 8.00am and 12.30pm.
