This is a very exciting time to join the team at United Lincolnshire Hospital NHS Trust.

The first intake of students at the new Lincoln Medical School commenced their studies in September 2019 and the Trust will be working very closely with the school to create and deliver the clinical curriculum.

This clinical teaching fellow post is a 12 month fixed term contract starting in April 2024. The role involves the delivery of relevant, interactive and learning objective focussed sessions across a range of specialities.


This clinical teaching fellow role has two main components:

  • Contributing to clinical teaching, training and mentoring of medical students. This will include theoretical classroom work, clinical skills sessions and preparing students for life as a foundation doctor. The latter including supervising students direct interaction with patients. There is also the opportunity to contribute to the clinical teaching delivered for the foundation programme.
Weekly clinical sessions that the successful applicant can negotiate in a speciality of their choosing. Previous post-holders have undertaken their clinical sessions in stroke medicine.
