Join us as a Performance, Reporting & Framework Manager

  • Take on a leading role, in which you'll be managing and coordinating the bank's overall targets and performance objectives for sustainability and related elements of our purpose
  • You'll be making sure that the bank's sustainability reporting and performance measures align with our performance targets and strategic priorities
  • This is an opportunity to develop your network and advance your influencing skills as you work with a range of key stakeholders across the bank and externally

What you'll do

In this key role, you'll be evaluating and coordinating the alignment of the bank's sustainability plan against key external measures and frameworks.

Through leading and developing a high performing, specialist team, we'll look to you to develop the bank'ssustainability performance targets and objectives including non-financial impact and ESG performance.

Working with our strategy, economics and communications teams, you'll be developing the bank's purpose and sustainability narrative to coordinate the non-financial performance strategy and impact into our overall corporate performance narrative.

Given how fastthe world of non financial reporting is evolving, you'll also be responsible for horizon scanning and adapting and innovating how we tell our story.


Other key aspects of your role will involve:

  • Developing the non-financial reporting narrative and structure and synchronising this as part of the overall corporate narrative
  • Working with and supporting Finance in setting the strategy and plans to meet regular reporting and disclosure requirements for sustainability and other nonfinancial information
  • Providing support to franchises to help them identify relevant metrics and data to improve reporting and performance measurement
  • Making sure relevant boards and committees are provided with regular data and information on sustainability performance from across the bank

The skills you'll need
We're looking for a people leader with knowledge and experience of sustainability and corporate responsibility as a business discipline.

Strong communication, networking and influencing skills are a must, along with experience of building and maintaining relationshipsat senior manager and director level.


You'll also need:

  • Strong analytical skills
  • Knowledge and experience of sustainability reporting, measurement and performance standards, with a good understanding of current and emerging policy
  • Experience of influencing, engaging and negotiating with external stakeholders
  • The ability to think strategically and translate strategy and plans into actions
