T2M resourcing are working on behalf of a major company who have an opportunity for An Assistant Finance Business Partner to join their team.

As Assistant Finance Business Partner you will provide analytical support and value add insight to the Finance Team, to support and articulate performance, ongoing budget and forecast process as well as identification and delivery on initiatives and projects.

Remote based with travel
Salary up to £40,000 + Bonus & Benefits Package & the genuine opportunity for career progression.

As Assistant Finance Partner your key responsibilities will include:

Ongoing development of tools to provide a standardised approach to review & report financial, commercial and operational performance across the business.
From data analysis compile reports for the operational side of the business
Support with analysis required for performance improvement & investment projects/deep dives as required.
Preparation & extraction of monthly financial & KPI reports from source systems, highlighting risks & opportunities.
Support the Finance team in understanding the key drivers of cost variances across the P&L
Proactively improve current team processes & implement new ones to improve the service provided by Finance.
Support the forecasting & budgeting processes by developing standard tools & financial models to ensure our forecasts / budgets reflect profit improvement plans & actual performance can be efficiently tracked against forecast financials and KPIs.
Provide support and challenge stakeholders ensuring Finance engagement, with opportunities to participate and play a vital role in wider functional meetings.

To be successful as Assistant Finance Business Partner, you will have the following skills and experience:

Part Qualified/ Finalist/Newly qualified CIMA/ACCA desired but not essential with potential opportunity for study support.
High levels of analytical skills with an eye for the detail, and ability to challenge the validity of underlying data.
Highly computer literate including advanced Excel skills, experience of modelling, forecasting and tracking KPI's.
Able to clearly articulate recommendations and findings, verbally and written, at all levels within the organisation.
Willing to challenge the status quo and seek growth opportunities.
Experience of working in a fastpaced environment and managing many stakeholders and priorities simultaneously
Effective team player who is comfortable working on their own with mínimal supervision
Flexible in approach to work with a tenacious, analytical and problemsolving mindset
Resilient and able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
Deliveryfocused with demonstrable track record of ontime delivery
