Job Description:


Job Purpose:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and hard working individual to join our Sales team.

The Internal Sales Coordinator will engage directly with customers from initial enquiry stage to order placement, offering a high level of customer service to enhance the customer experience.

The Internal Sales Coordinator will ensure all customer requirements are interpreted correctly, fulfilled, and orders are closed in a timely manner to achieve company targets.

They will provide accurate business reporting and up-to-date information relating to outstanding quotations and sales orders, while supporting the building, maintaining, and managing of a sales opportunity pipeline.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support meeting the required sales booking and revenues targets.
  • Responsible for maintaining an accurate sales opportunity pipeline using the company CRM system to enable improved forecasting.
  • Act as focal point for customer enquiries and requests.
  • Responsible for creating quotations, issuing, and following up with customers including receiving and recording receipt of purchase orders.
  • Responsible for ensuring that the pricing and discount policy is adhered to and maintained within the authorized limits.
  • Responsible for ensuring all Sales team requirements are understood and interpreted correctly.
  • Work with external sales team to support and develop new customers and relationships.
  • Maintain existing customer relationships and expectations.
  • Remain informed of competitor status, products, advantages, and weaknesses.
  • Remain informed of market conditions and trends.
  • Understand fully the benefits and functionality of each product offered.
  • Be responsible for discovering Teledyne Marine standard and nonstandard sales opportunities and participate in the selling process in collaboration with others.
  • Carry out work in a timely and efficient manner to meet deadlines in line with current priorities.
  • Liaise with operational departments to ensure that customer requirements and delivery dates are met.
  • Monitoring the Order processing process to ensure timely execution and feedback to customers.
  • Supports order handler with accepting and processing orders. Ensuring all documentation is received and correct.
  • Acts as order processing cover during annual leave or periods of sickness etc.
  • Has the sales responsibility of amending IFS listings, descriptions, pricings etc.
  • Supports engineering services with information on returned camera and light repairs / queries.
  • Support Social Media posts for BOWTECH.
  • Assist with maintenance of the Aberdeen demo room.
  • Prepares Aberdeen site for visitors, for both employees and customers.
  • Prepares data from IFS for weekly BOWTECH sales report on Monday.
  • Prepared weekly BOWTECH report from ERP System and personal notes on a Wednesday.
  • Participate in site revenue meetings.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Experience in a Sales environment
  • Sales experience or customer service experience able to converse at all levels.
  • Fluent in English, written as well as verbally.
  • Excellent communication ability with all nationalities, written as well as verbally.
  • Standard Office Applications e.g., Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Relevant background/education an international trading/maritime company would be advantageous.
  • Ability to have or attain good comprehension of technical/maritime issues.
