Do you have experience working with pupils with SEND within a Secondary School setting? Do you have a passion for supporting young people with additonal needs?


We are working with a large Secondary School in the Stockport area who have an immediate requirement for a SEND Support Assistant to work on a 1:1 basis pupils in the classroom, and in the onsite provision.

As a SEND Support Assistant you will be requiredwork with KS3-KS4 pupils, maximising engagemet and providing social, emotional and academic support.

You will assist the pupil throughout the school day to various lessons.

It is essential that you have a good understanding of the national curriculum and areIT literate as you will be required to complete paperwork and reports for this specific pupil.


  • Have previous experience working with SEND.
  • Have previous experience working with pupils with SEMH and challenging behaviour
  • Have eligibility to work in the UK or be a UK resident.
  • Have at least 6 months school based experience of working in a UK Secondary school setting.
  • Two suitable references covering the last 2 years.
