Essex Police are looking for a motivated and skilled professional to lead a team of Accredited Financial Investigators in their work to remove assets from those causing harm in our communities.
You will need to be an Accredited Financial Investigator who is ready to embrace a leadership role and manage and support your AFIs, guiding them as they work with colleagues across complex and serious investigations in every area of policing.
As one of two supervisors within the Proceeds of Crime Team you will be expected to work with internal and external partners to ensure that your team demonstrates best practise and maximises the legislation available to target criminals where it really hurts - their financial assets.
You will manage and develop your team, providing direction and guidance for complex financial investigations and ensuring that they are given the learning and development needed to maintain their skills and develop their experience.
There will be some requirement to travel so that you are able to support your team through court processes and work with the wider force countywide.
