We are currently recruiting for 2 x Parking Appeal Assistant's to join our team based within South Tyneside.

The Role:

Assist the Parking Manager and Parking Officer in the daytoday handling of correspondence associated with Civil Parking Enforcement
Assist in the handling of representations, charge certificates and statutory declarations associated with CPE
To correspond with the public, Traffic Penalties Tribunal (TPT) and the Traffic Enforcement Centre (TEC)
To assist in the monitoring of the performance of the Parking Services Enforcement Contractor
To correspond with the TPT, TEC and Bailiff Services
To investigate fully each TPT appeal form and to produce the Council's representation
Liaise with the Bailiff Services in connection with debt recovery
To assist in the continual development of the Special Parking Area and Permitted Parking Places in connection with CPE
To assist in the daytoday management of parking assets and resources
To assist in the investigation of complaints and preparation of reports including collection and analysis of data
