We are currently looking for an Arrears Advisor on a secondment basis to join our dynamic Rents Income Service team known for its high performance.
You will act as the main point of contact on the rents line, actively overseeing arrears casework up to the 'NOSP' stage.
Your responsibilities include promptly and appropriately addressing current rent and license arrears while also identifying residents who may be vulnerable and referring them to our financial inclusion team for support.
Your dedication plays a vital role in improving income collection for LBTH, ensuring the delivery of a top-tier income collection service.
About You:
- Experience of working in customerfocused environment.
- At least 2 years' experience working in a housing association or local authority.
- Comprehensive experience or knowledge of rent income collections.
- Experience of working with or supporting vulnerable people using a personcentred approach.
- Experience in engaging with a diverse range of customers and catering to individual needs.
- Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of Housing and Welfare Reform Legislation.
