Process Engineer
An opportunity has arisen to join a lithium chemical industry based in Basingstoke.

As the Process Engineer, you will be responsible for conducting research to develop new and improved processes and working with projects and engineering teams.

This is a fulltime, permanent position.

Responsibilities for a Process Engineer:

Overseeing and assessing existing processes and workflows
Support the implementation of process improvements to existing manufacturing process
Propose and implement new ideas to the business to optimise productivity
Devise, implement and track metrics to identify areas for improvement
Communicate findings and proposals to senior management
Provide direction and training to team members for process improvement
Manage a team of maintenance fitters daily and implement World Class Engineering and Lean principles

Requirements:

Minimum 4 years' experience working within mechanical engineering
A level in Chemistry and/or mechanical engineering at grade B or above
Degree level in Chemistry/ Process Engineering or a similar science/ engineering discipline with chemistry knowledge
Good understanding of World Class Engineering and Lean principles
Experience of managing and leading a team in an industrial environment
Knowledge of CAD, AutoCAD, or another design software package

Benefits:

Monday to Thursday 8:00am 17:00pm, and Friday 8:00am 16:00pm
25 days holiday plus bank holiday

Salary is £45,000 £50,000 per annum, depending on experience
