Content Creation Officer (Inside IR35)


Contract Term: 6 Month

Contracting Authority:
Ministry of Justice (MoJ)

**Location: Remote

- with travel to various prisons over England twice a month**The Ministry of Justice (MoJ) priorities include improving public safety and reducing reoffending by reforming prisons, probation and youth justice, and building a justice system which makes access to justice swifter and more certain for all citizens whatever their background. Project professionals in the MoJ help to improve the government's ability to protect the public and reduce reoffending, and to provide a more effective, transparent and responsive criminal justice system for victims and the public.

Professional working in the MoJ help to improve the government's ability to protect the public and reduce reoffending, and to provide a more effective, transparent, and responsive criminal justice system for victims and the public.


As a Content Creation Officer
your main responsibilities would be:

  • Design and produce creative content including videography, photography, animation and graphic design for Launchpad.
  • Working closely with the central HMPPS content production team to ensure that we have the right photographs and videography to support content for Launchpad.
  • Create and maintain editorial standards document that local communications officers can use when producing local content.
  • Work with the central HMPPS Content Production Team to ensure that editorial standards for Launchpad are reflected in any central document.
  • Providing advice on locally produced content to ensure it meets editorial standards.
  • Supporting on specific training needs for local communications officers such as basic graphic design or photography
  • Advising the Agency on the best product for their messaging, including accessibility advice and support
  • Evaluation of each product and sharing insight and evaluation with the wider HMPPS Communications team and those commissioning work
  • Working closely with the Prisons Account Manager and others to understand and meet the needs of the audience

You'll have relevant experience in:


  • Content production
  • Taking videos and editing
  • Video an Animation editing skills, video producer.
  • Photoshop.
  • Video, graphic design skills

SC/CTC Clearance is an essential requirement for this role; as a minimum you must be eligible and willing to undergo these checks.**
