Restgarth Care Home is a residential care home located just outside the village of Polperro with a relaxing and friendly atmosphere to help make our residents feel as comfortable and at home as possible.

Providing support to adults over and under the age of 65 and specialising in caring for people living with Dementia, there are 32 spacious bedrooms across three floors, all with an en-suite facility.

We are looking for a keen and enthusiastic person to join our team to assist with our residents who need support at mealtimes and also support our kitchen staff with daily tasks such as running breakfast trays, helping with the washing up and carrying out daily cleaning tasks and tea trollies.

The role entails supporting our residents with breakfast and lunch, preparing breakfasts, recording food and fluid intakes, ensuring our residents have access to fluids and offering snacks as well as carrying out general kitchen duties in between.

The role also includes preparing the dining area for mealtimes.

Shifts will be Week days /Alternate Weekends 8am to 3pm (part-time positions).
