School Caretaker role starting ASAP in Redbridge - East London

A School Caretaker role has opened up in an outstanding school in Redbridge.

This School Caretaker role would suit an experienced individual with a solid background in a school environment, or someone seeking a first school-based job who can bring experience and transferable skills in other handywork and maintenance positions.

As a School Caretaker you will need to be a capable individual who meets the following requirements:

Basic maintenance knowledge and able to use a wide range of hand tools & power tools
Opening and Closing the school
Basic knowledge of Health and Safety in a school
Knowledge of safeguarding requirements in a school environment
Knowledge of grounds maintenance and using garden equipment/machinery
Knowledge regarding fire alarms, drills, weekly testing
Manual handling awareness
Willing to learn and evolve, a good command of English.

The School Caretaker role is available on a full-time temp - perm starting immediately, the role will report directly to the Site Manager.
