These exciting posts would involve supporting Social Workers within their case management responsibilities by providing a service to children who are Looked After, and their families as follows:

  • Contribute to inter-agency working.
  • Contribute towards the assessment of children and families'.
  • Contribute to the planning of care/service provision.
  • Contribute to the monitoring and review of care plans (in noncomplex cases and under the supervision of a Social Worker).
  • Provide direct work with children and families.
  • Establish, sustain and develop working relationships with children and their families.
  • Contribute to the protection of children.
  • Promoting family time between children and their families.
