Remote, with one day per fortnight in our London office

About the role

We're looking for a confident Media and Communications Officer to tell the stories that place our work, and our campaigning, firmly on the news agenda.

We need someone who can write a great story and build the relationships needed to sell it to the media.

If you love writing and can create copy that flies, read on.

You'll be juggling projects, acting as a roving reporter, and bringing our social media to life.

You will be a natural content creator and curator for social media, and understand how to build engagement. Experience with social media management software would be great.

If you can also take strong photos that tell a story and shoot short film clips with your smartphone, we definitely want to hear from you.

We have been a leading provider of affordable, accessible homes for over 50 years and now provide accessible homes and services to more than 3,300 Habinteg households.

We developed the Wheelchair Housing Design Guide to encourage best practice in the development of new wheelchair accessible homes. We also engage the housing sector to encourage others to plan and build accessible homes.
