Who we are looking for:

CABI's ambition is to position itself as a facilitator and thought leader in agricultural climate change adaptation and climate finance - implementing projects and programmes across multiple countries to support the development of food systems resilient to climate and market related shocks, while promoting biodiversity, resilience, food security and inclusion of smallholder farmers in national, regional and global markets.

The Climate Finance Advisor will contribute to the development and implementation of climate change and food security focused projects, research, project proposals, and work processes, with a specific focus on mobilising public and private climate finance.

The Advisor will work with CABI colleagues around the world, to mainstream climate adaptation opportunities and approaches into value chain development work, building on CABI's core skills in pest and disease management, natural sciences research, development communications, and ecosystem management.

The Climate Finance Advisor will have experience and passion for the role and be able contribute to the development and implementation of climate change and food security focused projects, research, project proposals, and work processes, with a specific focus on mobilising public and private climate finance.

The Advisor will be able to work with CABI colleagues around the world, to help mainstream climate adaptation opportunities and approaches into value chain development work, working with team in CABI's core skill areas in pest and disease management, natural sciences research, development communications, and ecosystem management.
