The purpose of the role is to handle the whole prescription life-cycle for the entire caseload within a mental health and addictions private practice.

• Prescription Management:
• Create, issue and print prescriptions on a daily basis following nurse prescriber's instructions postconsultation. The same task applies every 3 months following a batchapproach.
  This is an essential component of the job which requires high attention to detail.

• Ensure pharmacy has medication in stock.
• Going to post office to post prescriptions.
• Ensure the prescriptions arrive and are stored at the pharmacy by checking with the pharmacist.
• Change/adapt prescriptions due to holidays, titrations, and other increase/reduction in medication prescribed.

• Update the patient profile in our system.
• Ensure patients are booked in for compulsory biyearly reviews.
• Ensure reviews are booked in casesof changes to medication dose.
• Ensure they provide yearly ECG results.

• Outstanding attention to detail. The job requires a lot of attention paid to dates and prescription digit numbers for FP10s
• Excellent Excel skills A MUST combined with high attention to detail
• Experience in the private sector is a must
• Excellent manners/customer service, approachable and helpful attitude is a must
• Knowledge of the issues facing substance misusers and mental health patients preferred

• Keep a mature, empathetic and nonjudgmental attitude towards substance misusers and mental health sufferers.
