The role
As a Facility Management Administrator, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. Self
- delivering a seamless facilities management and administration provision for UKMFTS site RAF Valley. As well as supporting the onsite delivery team in the delivery of facility management services for all UKMFT managed buildings.


Day to day you'll arrange, organise/ coordinate meetings, take minutes and handle internal or external communication or management systems as well as:

  • Managing and making sure that stationery stock levels are satisfactory
  • Carrying out stock management with the site delivery team and ordering to ensure sufficient stock is available or replenished.
  • Processing and raising purchase orders using appropriate electronic systems and working in accordance with Babcock procurement policies.
  • Checking all facilities management (hard and soft) tasks that are logged on the system are routed for the appropriate action, including contacting contractors, managing, and signing of documentation with the use of the inhouse electronic management systems such as TABSFM.

Essential experience of the Facility Management Administrator

  • Driving licence
  • Microsoft Package inc; Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Able to travel to other locations (vehicle hired if required)
  • Previous experience delivering hard and soft facilities management administration tasks.
  • TABSFM or similar Computer Aided Facilities Management system.
  • Previous experience raising purchase orders and dealing with invoices.
  • Previous experience in maintaining documentation.
  • IOSH Working Safely.
  • Knowledge of working within a military environment.
  • Knowledge of working on or around active airfields.


This role is full time and based onsite at RAF Valley, however you may be required to visit other Babcock sites across the UK when required for business purposes.


Qualifications of the Facility Management Administrator


No practical qualifications are needed for this role just a willingness to learn new systems and the ability to work within a small team and have the willingness to multitask to support and offer a seamless service to all building occupants and visitors.
