Description
Sheridan Maine is partnering with a leading organisation based in central Bournemouth to recruit for an experienced, motivated and proactive Assistant Management Accountant.
This role will be on a 12 month fixed term contract basis, offering a hybrid working pattern - 3 days in their Bournemouth office and 2 days working from home.
Responsibilities of the Assistant Management Accountant include:
- Produce monthly management accounts, highlighting key variances
- Preparing and monitoring budgets
- Perform financial planning and analysis
- Prepare, input and record monthly journals and reports
- Monitor actuals and performance against budgets / forecasts on a continuing basis
- Providing on going support to the senior leadership team
- Experience of working in a similar Assistant Accountant position
- Ability to 'time manage' and work well in a fastpaced environment
- Intermediate Excel knowledge with the ability to use complex spreadsheets
- Motivated and proactive with the ability to communicate figures to nonfinance staff
