We are recruiting a Trainee Private Healthcare Insurance Coordinator
to join our Bristol Team. This part of the business is responsible for advising Private Healthcare clients on all aspects of their policy.

  • You will work in a busy and friendly office environment on a hybrid basis
  • As a Private Healthcare Insurance Coordinator, you will be responsible for the day to day management of a portfolio containing a significant number of clients
  • You will be the main point of contact in relation to Mercer services, maintaining a relationship with clients and coordinating services from specialists within the business

We will count on you to:

  • Deliver consulting support to consulting teams and clients in a timely manner in line with MMB's target operating model
  • To provide technical support to clients and colleagues
  • Communicate with clients, colleagues, and providers, dealing with client queries (verbal and written), with support as appropriate in line with service level agreements to ensure timely client delivery
  • Take ownership of delivery of tasks and proactively manage own workload
  • Manage client relationships to support retention & growth
  • Ensure quality of own work through right first time approach
  • Champion continuous improvement within your team/location
  • Develop and maintain appropriate technical and market knowledge
  • Adhere to MMB processes
  • Partner with internal/ external stakeholders to achieve best service for client

What you need to have:


  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent IT experience in order to work with the necessary IT systems in place
  • Ability to work on own and as part of a team
  • Excellent planning and organisation skills and ability to work to deadlines
  • Accuracy and attention to detail are essential
  • Proven ability to prioritise own workloads
