Can you translate and communicate complex scientific data to Health Care Professionals (HCPs) either in person or virtually?

The position

  • You can provide optimal delivery of scientific information to the medical and scientific community.
  • You build strong relationships with Health Care Professionals
  • You will provide support to sales and marketing with medical advice to customers and provide medical advice and training to the Novo Nordisk employees in the region.
  • You can communicate the scientific basis for and clinical usefulness of Novo Nordisk products.
  • You can make an effective contribution to the medical team and to crossfunctional groups within the Business Area.


Clinical Research activities will require your attention too, and you will actively work as required with the clinical teams to provide support to clinical trials conducted in the UK.

You will be required to contribute to project teams both within and outside the UK. The role is field based and there will be a requirement for both national and international travel.


Qualifications

  • ABPI Medical Representative Examination or be willing to work towards this qualification.
  • Hold a valid driving licence and be willing to travel.
  • Strong communication and networking capability together with excellent presentation and training skills.
  • Knowledge of GCP, clinical trial methodology, drug development and UK health care systems.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English.

About the department


Medical Affairs is a department within the Clinical, Medical & Regulatory (CMR) department responsible for medical and scientific dialogue supporting the appropriate use of innovative treatments including Novo Nordisk products.

Medical Affairs ensure that Novo Nordisk's activities are undertaken in an ethical and appropriately scientific manner, thereby safeguarding the trust and respect of HCPs and patients.


Medical Affairs is made up of an office team of Medical Advisors and a field team of Regional Medical Advisors.
