Contract to start until with a possible extension.


Job description
To provide the main point of contact to privately rented housing tenants and providers.

Ensure all casework and housing data is accurately recorded on notes and IT systems

Ensure all housing meets required national and local standards and compliance.

Contribute the efficient and effective management of voids and relets processes

Ensure all homelessness casework is delivered in line with the statutory homelessness framework

Ensure the provision of accurate and relevant housing, welfare, homelessness advice and support Any other duties reasonably requested by management

Carry out all accountabilities in compliance with the Council's Policies and Procedures

To ensure the effective implementation of safeguarding policies and practices To provide and support private rented housing residents to make informed housing choices and sustain their tenancy

Ensure the effective management of the private housing portfolio, including Gateway and Enfield Let properties

To provide an outstanding Private Rented Housing Service and ensure residents comply with the terms of their agreement and promptly take remedial action as required


To provide an outstanding Private Rented Housing Service and ensure providers comply with the terms of the lease and promptly take remedial action as required.

Ensure LBE and its contractors complies with contractual / service standards and promptly take remedial action as required

To investigate and work in partnership to resolve management issues, such as ASH, hoarding,

To ensure properties are maintained and repaired to the required standard and monitor contractor and provider performance

To identify and address non-occupation, over occupation and under occupation

To work in partnership to identify and address welfare, housing, and homelessness fraud

To work in partnership to identify and address welfare, housing, and homelessness fraud

To provide routine and ad hoc tenancy and property inspections in line with policies and procedures
