Description

We are an electrical contractor that operates on a nationwide basis specialising in the design and build of electrical installations within the retail, commercial, hotel & leisure market sectors.

We are looking for an assistant project coordinator to assist and co-ordinate the business commercial activities.


Key duties and responsibilities:


  • Generate site/project documentation, including site files, health & safety information, RAMS, trackers etc.
  • Assisting with project programme, project proposals, time lines and budgets.
  • Help maintaining the project plan; monitor progress against the plan, coordinate project activities and resources.
  • Maintaining risk, issue and action logs for projects.
  • Chase project team for progress
  • Office administration including project control, job costing, and record keeping.
  • Assist with preparation and submission of regular project update reports as required.
  • Assist with research, target and establish new tender opportunities.
  • Prepare and update Pre-Qualification Questionnaires and assist in maintaining company accreditation and trade memberships.
  • Provide support and assist in other departmental activities as required.

Education And/Or Experience

  • Minimum of GCSE (or equivalent) in Maths and English, preferably with a business administration qualification.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a high level of numeracy.
  • Experience of working in a busy office environment
  • Excellent Computer Literacy with experience of using Microsoft Office, specifically Word and Excel.
  • The creation and maintenance of spread sheets to record manipulate and present information
  • Experience of MS Project or other project management packages desirable.

  • Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, project teams, existing and new clients.
  • Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality at all times
  • Must be confident, resourceful, highly organised and be able to work on own initiative.

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
£15,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
