The Role and Department:

We have an opportunity for a Peer Support Worker to join the organisation on a permanent basis.

Reporting to the Community Development Project Manager, you will be responsible for delivering one to one peer support to people who have been experiencing mental health problems, and are looking for long-term recovery focussed interventions.

You will be passionate about lived experience & peer support and will able to work closely within a multi-disciplinary team.


What you will bring to TOG Mind:

You will have knowledge of the barriers for people living with mental health conditions, and have experience of understanding and representing the views of people affected by mental health issues.

This role is delivered in a multi-disciplinary setting and out in the community, and you will link people to community assets and group that will help people maintain their goals long term.

You will be able to develop a great rapport with those you work with and support, and bring hope and inspiration to people's lives.

Part-time, Permanent

Part-time hours: 18 per week


Salary:
£10,202.40 per year
