Conrad Consulting is currently recruiting for an Assistant Building Surveyor to join our client based in Surrey. If this sounds like the position for you, please read on below.

Growing Engineering and Surveying consultancy.


Projects:
Residential, Healthcare and Commercial.

Company Headcount: - 15


Role of the Assistant Building Surveyor:

  • Attend building surveys and prepare reports on condition, defect repairs and maintenance plans
  • Prepare and serve party wall notices and Awards.
  • Prepare costed maintenance plans
  • Project management and contract administration on repair and refurbishment projects
  • Assisting senior surveyors in complex construction matters
  • Carry out property inspections, report on defects and recommend remedial works

Requirements of the Assistant Building Surveyor:

  • A graduate degree relevant to construction or Building Surveying (BSc, MSc or equivalent)
  • Knowledge or experience in UK residential construction
  • A desire to work towards RICS chartered member status
  • An ability to problem solve, project manage and deliver client satisfaction
  • An ability to work as part of a team
