Job Description:


  • The purpose of this role is to lead the development of and enable the implementation of the Colleague Insight Strategy for De Beers working in close collaboration with the Anglo America Colleague Insight team. This role enables the tracking of employee sentiment across the De Beers Group and delivers agile and responsive insights and solutions to inform strategic decisionmaking.
  • Manage the global insights platform for De Beers, ensuring consistency of research and governance.
  • Lead the preparation and rollout of global insights pulse and deepdive surveys using a structured project management approach.
  • Provide insight and expertise to support the communication and engagement plan for the Global Insights surveys ensuring consistent engagement across all De Beers teams.
  • Lead on engaging with stakeholders from across HR (and wider business) to ensure insights solutions are delivered which meet their needs.
  • Provide insight to the De Beers HRLT which will validate, support and enable strategic people decisions.
  • Develop a Colleague Insight approach aligned to De Beers planned and emerging needs, leveraging the expertise, tools and resources available to the Anglo American CI team.
  • Guide on research design, questions, analysis, reporting and action planning for local initiatives.
  • Provide training and guidance to local teams to enable selfservice development of surveys and research analysis.
  • Be an ambassador for colleague insight, representing the team and engaging stakeholders in the solutions design and value creation colleague insight can offer.
  • Operates as a key member of the Colleague Insights community, ensuring compliance with all Group led activities and contributing to the success of the team.
  • Seeks continuous improvement opportunities to our approach to colleague listening including measuring the success of CI interventions and engaging with end users to ensure the desired outcomes are met.

  • Knowledge of research methodologies and techniques
  • Project management experience
  • Analysis experience
  • Factors that need to be taken into account when communicating and managing change programmes across cultures and geographies
  • Proficient in implementing and embedding a project to ensure adoption and sustainability
  • A good understanding of the De Beers business or wider industry understanding or exposure would be advantageous, or the ability to rapidly acquire it
  • Experience of working across different cultures and geographies
