Main Duties:


Graduate Recruitment

  • To be the first point of contact for all general queries e.g., management of the graduate inbox, responding to or fielding queries.
  • Act as a representative of the Pinsent Masons graduate team e.g., law fairs, insight events, assessment centres).
  • Assist with the development and delivery of the firm's campus activity e.g., through liaison with the university careers service and student societies and management of a number of campus events.
  • Support the work of the Graduate Team in the delivery of vacation placement and training contract recruitment across the firm's UK office network including scheduling of assessment centres.

General Tasks

  • Supporting the team in the delivery of the social media content.
  • Maintenance of Graduate Team databases, spreadsheets, and files to ensure compliance with the General Data Protection Regulations.
  • Booking of rooms, venues, and events nationally and internationally at both internal and external venues as required.
  • Preparation of all documentation relating to offers and new starters, including contracts, information, and induction packs.
  • Support the Graduate Team in the delivery of ad hoc projects as requested

Key Skills

  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft 365, specifically Excel, Teams, Forms, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Willingness to learn about and use specialist firm IT systems on a regular basis e.g., applicant tracking system and file management software.
  • Knowledge of social media platforms e.g., Instagram and LinkedIn.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines.
  • Methodical with a keen eye for detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Selfmotivated and able to work on own initiative.

Personal Qualities / Behaviours

  • Proactive, selfstarter and robust.
  • Must be flexible in working outside normal UK office hours on occasion.
  • Prepared to undertake UKwide travel when required.
Resilience, drive, initiative and tenacity is essential.
