As we continue to enhance our teams on site and ensure we have highly skilled talent in key areas, the need has arisen for a
Calibration and Maintenance Systems Officer to join our Engineering team here in Wrexham.


This role is focussed on supporting the development and implementation of our maintenance excellence program, where you will add value with all site engineering systems including maintenance, calibration and engineering projects, providing site-wide calibration support including 3rd party vendors.


What will you be doing

  • Carry out any duties assigned by the engineering Qualification and Calibration Manager that fall into the role of maintenance and calibration data management especially the development of system performance measurement
  • Lead improvements to the processes supporting the site engineering systems: SAP, BM RAM Calibration, Equipment Registration
  • Lead, develop and deploy the plant numbering systems for all site assets
  • Support engineering planning activities
  • Engineering contract management, help to manage data, reports and other information flows from 3rd party vendors/contractors to support site operations.
  • Review maintenance technicians' documentation for 'Good documentation practice'
  • Ensure all relevant information on work is inputted to SAP and hard copies archived
  • Support audit readiness and act as SME for business systems, e.g. SAP Maintenance and BM Calibration.
  • Review completed PPMs and corrective WOs for followup work

What we're looking for

  • Knowledge of SAP maintenance systems
  • Experience working in an industrial environment, preferably pharmaceutical and/or manufacturing
  • Able to implement systems to support tracking and management of schedules
  • Comfortable managing high volumes of data, providing summaries and analysis
  • Excellent communication across all formats including engagement with both internal and external stakeholders
