_Equifind _are working with one the of the fastest growing energy investors in Europe to recruit a part-time Group Financial Controller (2 days pw).

Reporting directly to the Managing Partner, you will play a key part in the effective running of the management company of this climate-conscious investor.

Some of the key duties include:

Provide reports to Board every quarter and present financials to the Board
Manage FCA quarterly returns with the compliance officer
Engage with external parties to review monthly management accounts for the Company and its two subsidiaries on a timely basis
Engage in technical accounting dialogue with the external audit
Prepare capital management fee calculations and billing statements
Review quarterly VAT returns and relevant working papers
Engage with external parties on the production and submission of tax returns
Develop and uphold processes to ensure timely and accurate accounting functions
Manage implementation of new invoicing system
Review revenue schedule and support accounts payable processing
Review and approve invoice payments via the bank
Review monthly payroll, staff benefits, pension, and expenses
Prepare Company's budget and cashflow forecast

_Who should apply?_

A qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)
A minimum of 4 years postqualification experience in public accounting and/or financial services
Strong understanding of FCA regulatory obligations and filings
Previous management experience (1 person+)
Strong admin and technical skills (particularly MS excel, power point and MS Projects)
Ability to work under pressure and deadlines

_What's on offer?_
- £80-90,000 (pro-rata for 2 days pw)
