Meraki Talent are exclusively supporting with the appointment of a permanent Finance Manager paying £50,000 - £55,000 plus bonus and a competitive benefits package.

The RoleThe CFO is looking to hire a Finance Manager that they can fast track into a Financial Controller. The role is a newly developed to take full ownership of BAU finance. Once owned, the individual can then start to spread their wings to support the CFO with strategicplanning, direction and decision making with excellent commercial exposure & visibility for the entire organisation.
The CFO is an individual with the utmost credibility and will act as the perfect mentor figure for an aspiring finance professional keen to ensure they reach their full potential.
On OfferThe role of Finance Manager is based in Edinburgh city centre and can operate a hybrid working model of 3 days in the office and 2 days from home
The position will offer:
- £50,000 - £55,000 base salary
- Discretionary bonus

- Training, education and qualification budget
- Hybrid working 3/2 model
- Influencing strategy, direction and decision making through financial & commercial analysis
- Boarding reporting and business partnering
- KPI setting and reporting
- Supporting on new and existing contract tenders volumes, margins, pricing, resourcing requirements etc.
- Company expansion through organic growth, vertical market growth, diversification, new geographic territories and potential acquisitions
BAU Finance:
- Managing a small finance team
- Accountant, AP, AR, Credit Controllers
- Reviewing and signing off of monthly management accounts
- Assisting with statutory accounts preparation
- Balance sheet integrity and reconciliations
- Annual audit preparation including liaising with External Auditors
- Assisting the tax professional with VAT & taxation returns
- Budget setting and monitoring
- Variance analysis
- Treasury and bank account management
- Transactional finance oversight purchase ledger, sales ledger, credit control
