Team Educate is looking for an experienced, part-time Learning Support Assistant to work on a 1:1 basis with a Year 2 pupil with Autism, starting ASAP.

Responsibilities:


  • Assist the Class Teacher in implementing lesson plans and educational activities
  • Provide support and guidance to a Year 2 pupil who is on the autism spectrum
  • Create a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students
  • Help supervise and manage classroom behaviour
  • Collaborate with the lead teacher to assess student progress and provide feedback to parents/guardians
  • Take agency with daily tasks such as preparing materials, setting up activities, and leading creative, practical and sensory activities

Qualifications and Experience:


  • A relevant Level 3 qualification, such as CACHE 'Supporting Teaching and Learning', as well as relevant SEND training
  • Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with students, parents/guardians, and other staff members
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask

£90.00-£95.00 per day
