Primary Learning Support Assistant - Hampton

Are you looking to start your career as a Primary Learning Support Assistant? Do you love supporting children?


If so, we have a fantastic opportunity to join a special academy for pupils aged 4-16 with moderate learning difficulties and additional complex needs including Autism.

The school is located in Hampton and it's a full time role from Monday to Friday, 8:30amto 4pm.


Experience working as a Primary Learning Supporting Assistant would be ideal but you must have experience working with children in some form of capacity.

The Role

  • Willing to support the pupil's with their learning is vital as a Primary Learning Support Assistant
  • Support the teacher with setting up the classroom and preparing learning resources for students
  • Assist children during social activities and outings
  • Motivate children to achieve beyond their potential as a Primary

Requirements:


  • Available Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4pm
  • As a Primary Learning Support Assistant you need the ability to show active listening skills and have strong communication skills
  • Willingness to adapt to wide range of duties within changing environments
  • Able to handle complex and sensitive issues with empathy and understanding

Pay rate is dependent on qualifications, experience and skills.
