Description
Liaise
with Quality, Production Leaders, Manufacturing Engineering, Engineering, Unit Leaders and Demand Management, to develop and deliver a pro-active and professional training capability which contributes towards the overall Operations strategy.
- Establish and maintain training requirements to improve product quality and operators' flexibility.
- Establish a skills auditing process and procedure.
- Complete operators' skills audits to ensure product quality requirements achieved.
- Working with the Production Management, Manufacturing Engineers, Quality and Demand Management to establish and monitor training plans and report progress on a monthly basis.
- Agree and establish best practice procedures and work instructions.
- Deliver all training directly to manufacturing operators.
- Seek and gather information from management, employees and other departments regarding the effectiveness of completed training courses and constantly seek to improve.
- Agree and establish a training effectiveness assessment process and procedure.
- Facilitate and support continuous improvements within all manufacturing units and areas.
- Work with manufacturing to establish and maintain a skills database.
- Maintain and develop an effective training area.
