Responsibilities:


  • Accountability over the software team, including staffing, oversight, development, and delivery of software products
  • Provides leadership and oversight of departmental structure, recruitment, talent development, succession planning, and addressing organisational gaps and risks
  • Responsible for putting together a software roadmap that meets the business needs, and the ability to run a multidimensional software department to deliver concurrent projects
  • Responsible for ensuring that the software team has a clear strategy, mission, and goals
  • Responsible for creating an environment and culture that fosters team commitment and employee engagement

Key skills:


  • Ability to effectively communicate across all levels of the organization (upward, downward, and across) with the appropriate message, tone, and level of impact
  • Ability to Build and foster supportive partnerships with other departments to deliver on longterm roadmaps
  • Build a working environment where people can play to their strengths and maximize results
  • Extensive experience as a Software Director level working with medlarge scale teams
  • Familiar with different types of software development methodologies (e.g. agile, SCRUM, Waterfall, etc.)
