Counterbalance Forklift Driver

£11.50 per hour

Nursling, Southampton

Our client, a reputable company offering food distribution services, have two openings to work as a Counterbalance Forklift Driver on a full time temporary to permanent basis This is an exciting opportunity to join a fantastic company

As a Counterbalance Forklift Driver you will be required to carry out various duties which include:

  • Picking and processing orders
  • Packing orders and labelling boxes
  • Organising orders in the main warehouse area onto pallets ready for dispatch
  • Keeping the warehouse area clean and tidy
  • Loading and unloading deliveries operating a counterbalance forklift truck
  • Wrapping pallets
  • Checking paperwork
  • Stock control
You will also require the following experience for the Counterbalance Forklift Driver position:

  • Previous warehousing experience
  • Recent Counterbalance forklift experience along with either your own in date licence or inhouse certificate
  • Physically fit and able
  • Good communication skills
The standard working hours are from 3am until 11.20am Monday to Fridays.

The hourly pay for this role is £11.50ph per hour, paid weekly in arrears.
