Site Manager, School Caretaker, groundsman needed for Large Watford based Academy

Are you a school caretaker or site manager interested in joining a large and well run Secondary school in Watford? This is a rewarding post inbetween the hours of 7am - 8pm working alongside a team of 3 in the maintenance department.

Tradewind St Albans are looking to appoint a friendly, approachable and experience Caretaker to support a large Watford based Secondary school.

Duties will include daily maintenance, repairs and planned visit's by other trades to ensure the school is fullyfunctioning. You will be responsible for locking and unlocking the building, receiving deliveries and a routine maintaining the schools facilities. A welcoming, friendly, and can-do attitude are essential for this role as you will be in contact and communicatewith all members of the community, including staff, parents and students

To join us and be successful in this role you will need to:

Be an integral part of the staff team able to handle responsibility at all levels of site management.
Good general maintenance skills
Be available between the hours of 7am 8pm with shifts agreed with the facilities manager
Have a positive disposition and work with the support of two other site staff and facilities manager in a multiskilled and inclusive team.
An enhanced DBS on the update service (we can help if you require a new one)
Available now for registration with Tradewind and to start ASAP or in January 2023
