Head of HR based in
Banbridge.
Head of Human Resources
Location
Head Quarters - Banbridge, Co Down
Hours
38 hours per week:
8.00am to 5.00pm Mon to Thursday
8.00am to 3.00pm Friday
Salary Competitive Depending on Experience
Responsible to Managing Director
Core Responsibilities of role
- Implement and maintain an effective and efficient HR structure.
- Establish clear written roles, responsibilities, and accountabilities for team members, with clear, written and agreed objectives and associated KPI's.
- Drive performance of HR KPI's and ensure full and accurate reporting.
- Carry out individual performance and personal development reviews for any direct reports.
- Lead and drive HR Strategy plans within the company.
- Provide advice and support to Leadership team and Line managers on all matters pertaining HR management and people development.
- Build strong working relationships with Leadership team and Line managers and support them through resourcing and providing training and development opportunities for themselves and their respective teams.
- Embed a performance management culture within the business as a means of driving business improvement by ensuring clear goals, feedback, and the improvement of customer service through behaviors aligned with the company's values.
- Identify and lead initiatives to facilitate recruitment and retention within the company.
- Drive consistency of approach across the business in attracting, managing, and developing talent to support current and future business needs.
- Establish and introduce a Graduate and Apprenticeship support program within Alternative Heat to assist in the development and integration of graduate and placement students whilst offering them the opportunity to get a full clear understanding across all key aspects of the business.
- Drive communication and engagement within the company and lead on initiatives that will improve communication and engagement across all sectors of the business.
- Any other duties as required by management.
Essential Criteria:
- Minimum of 5 years previous experience managing a team more than 4 persons
- Ability to Communicate and influence at a senior level.
- Proven experience of supporting line managers through training, development, and scaling of their associated teams
- Organised and structured approach to work with an ability to manage workloads.
- Computer literate with attention to detail and presentation

Salary:
£40,167.08-£60,234.09 per year
