My client is currently looking for a shipping, export's or logistics administrator for their Gloucestershire offices.

The Shipping Co-Ordinator will be responsible for supporting the Global Shipping to drive a cost effective and efficient customer centric solutions for carriers and delivery solutions for Inbound and Outbound dispatches within the UK, EU and Rest of World.

The role will be supporting and liaising with all our Carriers, and colleagues assisting the departmemts Manager with the administration and analysis of the global logistics.


Job description:

Supporting with all Courier, freight and global shipping matters
Analyse outbound pricing to consumers based on markets, competitors pricing and profit losses on service lines and markets.

Create documentation and compliance to all import and export regulations to reduce risk of delay and associated costs across all PDS locations.

Supporting the Manager Ensuring the smooth flow of Exports and Imports by liaising with suppliers and Freight Forwarders.
Administer and create the outbound and inbound transport quotations for the business
Support CS with relevant information for all claims for failed/late deliveries.
Administer and log stock transfers and shipping requests for reconciliation of

Person specification:

Excellent organisation and planning skills
Excellent communication, analytical and problem-solving skills
Computer literate with MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
Reliable, good timekeeping, honest and conscientious
Professional attitude and demeanour
Able to work independently and resourcefully, as well as in a team environment
Motivated and flexible with a positive approach to work
Willingness to learn the industry and keeping up to date with essential legislation for shipping
