Salary: Basic £25,000 With OTE £45,000

The Client:

Our client are well-established, and reputable Estate Agents. They are seeking a highly motivated
Lettings Manager to join their Maidstone branch. The company is in the top 1% of agents in the UK. With 30 branches and departments offering sales, lettings, mortgages, new homes and investment services in London and Kent.


The Role:


In the capacity of
Lettings Manager, you will assume responsibility for your own team and will provide them with leadership, direction, and inspiration through your own outstanding ability.

Experience at management level with multi-location responsibilityand preferably be
ARLA qualified. This is a fabulous opportunity for someone with exceptional leadership skills to climb the career ladder.

A confident self-starter, experienced in the complex and fast-paced lettings environment.


Responsibilities:


  • Leading by example in the office in all matters.
  • Seek to build the lettings business by using and developing contacts and creating new opportunities.
  • Represent landlords in negotiations with prospective tenants.
  • Effectively market and promote properties for let within the team.
  • To help set clear objectives in line with company strategy and to measure performance against these.
  • To support team members in career development via training, coaching, mentoring and the promotion and succession/talent processes.

Skills and experience required to be a successful Lettings Manager:


  • Minimum of 4 years' lettings experience managing a busy team of highly ambitious Property Consultants.
  • A motivator, able to create a successful team working and individual performance and engagement.
  • Excellent communication, organisation skills, and ability to delegate for maximum results.
  • You should have a successful track record in Lettings Management
  • Must genuinely like people and enjoy dealing with them in a business context and believe passionately in delivering a superior customer service.
  • You will need drive and determination to succeed in winning business and creating opportunity.
  • Local knowledge is not essential but preferred.
