WHAT TO EXPECT


The dynamic, innovative Supply Chain department are recruiting We have an excellent opportunity in the Volume Planning team, who are embedded with the Procurement teams, and will be expected to work with buyers in supplier capacity planning activity at commodity level.


This fantastic role, that requires an individual who is happy to take the initiative and adopt an "outside the box" thinking process, will be coordinating with a range of people both internal and external to JLR.

From Product Engineering and Commercial specialists to suppliers and colleagues in Procurement, this role offers fantastic exposure to all different areas within JLR.


The individual will be responsible for relaying a 'single source of truth' when it comes to volumes for sourcing and manage capacity verification exercises for key cross carline commodities.

They will also have the opportunity to manage the relationship for the Volume Planning team with all Powertrain (Units) stakeholders and will also be responsible for cascading diverse actions identified to ensure the correct capacity is installed in the supply base.


WHAT YOU'LL NEED


To be successful in this position, you must be able to demonstrate your extensive knowledge in any of the following areas - Business Planning, Supply Chain Planning, Purchasing, Supplier Technical Assistance - with exposure to best practices from the automotive industry as well as wider commercial environment.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience


Essential:

Good understanding of supplier production processes, lead times, capacity planning.
Possesses outstanding analytical skills and demonstrate prior cross functional working experience.
Capable of resolving issues by working across functions
Good communicator/negotiator at all levels.
