The Salvation Army is looking for a professional, organised, and motivated individual to join the team based at Dennistoun Corps in the role of
Community Assistant supporting our church and community programmes.

This role would suit someone who has excellent people skills.

You will be required to support the operational delivery of the community programmes at the Corps to fulfil the aims of the Mission Journal.

You will demonstrate a professional and caring manner when engaging with programme participants, to create a welcoming and supportive environment.

In addition, you will undertake relevant administrative processes to ensure accurate records are kept and maintained.

  • Ability to work with The Salvation Army's Christian ethos and key values: integrity: accountability: compassion: boldness and respect.
  • Awareness of relevant safeguarding matters.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Ability to work within a group setting of families and carers.
